- Get assurance of consultant’s quality
Engaging a PMC provides your company with the assurance that the consultant has the necessary knowledge, skills and experience for projects. Consultants applying for PMC certification are required to show that they have the experience in handling consulting projects or have been working in the management capacity. They are also required to go through training modules which cover areas like the management of a consulting project and the application procedures for government incentives.

- Avenue for recourse against negligent consultants
As all PMCs are bound by a strict code of professional conduct, you can have recourse against negligent consultants. To ensure all PMCs uphold this standard, the PMC certification Board has a formal process that enables legitimate complaints against any PMC to be heard. Where appropriate, a disciplinary action will be taken.
