CaseTrust Briefing for PMCs
More than 20 PMCs attended a briefing on CaseTrust organised by The Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) on 24 September 2009.
At the half-day briefing tailored for PMCs, participants gained a better understanding of key industry information that is likely to help them in their consultancy work. After a brief overview of the CaseTrust Accreditation process, they learnt first-hand important information on the criteria and procedures for the newly-launched accreditation schemes for motoring and spa & wellness industries. SPRING officers also briefed a new grant scheme to help local SMEs in the spa and wellness industry to be CaseTrust accredited.
The briefing was held as part of a collaboration between CASE and PMC-Certification Board to provide PMCs with a pathway to be on the CaseTrust Panel of Consultancy Firms. The requirement of fulfilling 1-3 completed CaseTrust projects to be eligible has been waived for PMCs. CASE has also made PMC certification as a requirement for new consultants to be on CaseTrust Panel. PMCs have welcomed this new move, which brings enhanced value to the PMC certification. |
