The Practising Management Consultant Certification Board (PMC-CB), with the support of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), is offering a new Professional Conversion Programme for Management Consultants (PCP-MC).  The programme is specially tailored to help Professionals, Managers and Executives make a switch to a new career in management consultancy.

Programme Structure
During the 12-month programme, PCP-MC candidates are required to:

• attend 5 days of training, consisting of 10 training modules;
• undergo and pass the examinations for the 10 training modules; and
• complete a 12-month apprenticeship at a management consultancy firm.

After the apprenticeship, trainees who successfully complete the programme will be conferred the Practising Management Consultant (PMC) qualification, a nationally-recognised certification for management consultants.
 

Trainee Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for this programme:

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, who are currently unemployed or wish to switch career
• Minimum a diploma qualification
• Minimum three years' full-time working experience in a management capacity
• Able to commit 12 months full-time to the programme

Applicants will be screened to assess their eligibility. Successful enrolment in the programme is subject to the right match between the candidate and the host management consultancy firm. 

All candidates must commit to work in the Management Consultancy industry for a period of at least 12 months upon successful completion of the PCP-MC programme.
  

Funding Support
Course fees: Candidates will receive 100% course fee support. WDA will fund 70% of the course fees, capped at SGD1,750 per trainee. The remaining 30% will be borne by the host firms.

Training Allowance: WDA will provide the host firms with a funding support of 50% of the basic salary, capped at SGD1,600 per candidate per month up to a period of 12 months. The other 50% will be borne by the host firms.
